Televisions, computers, and radios are not the only means of entertainment nowadays, books, magazines and even newspapers serve the purpose just as good as these electronic devices. Different and amusing things can be seen in newspapers, there are many useful things to be read. However, if one grows tired of reading, the newspaper also offers certain entertainments that does not tire one with words but makes one deal with simple yet complicated numbers, that is, Sudoku.
In playing this mind puzzle, one is required to take hold of a pencil and activate one’s mind. In this game, there is a total 81 small squares. These squares are fixed in nine groups (which will look like bigger squares) with each group containing nine small squares each. The goal of this game is to place the numbers nine to one in the big square, each small square containing a number each. This may seem easy but then, one rule that complicates this game that is, the numbers could not repeat itself within a group, within a whole row, and within a whole column. If these instructions are somewhat vague, one can always try the game and enjoy it himself.
Sudoku is a complicated game that could be learned easily. Because of this complication, many people who play this game do not only find it very entertaining but also very challenging.
